RAHUL CHIPALKATTY, PhD
FOUNDER & CEO

Rahul has spent the past decade studying how humans and robots work together. Prior to Southie, he worked in autonomy and robotics for Dept of Defense R&D applications at Draper, including an ambitious three year Draper–MIT–Harvard research initiative to mature autonomous mobile manipulation technology. 

JAY M. WONG
CO-FOUNDER

Awarded OAA Outstanding Achievement by a Young Alum by his alma mater, Jay worked as a full stack robotics scientist at Draper and held visiting scientist roles at MIT and Harvard University. At Draper, he was project lead for the lab’s cloud robotics research initiative and engineered the robotics system that was named KUKA Innovation Award Finalist.
