Our URCap is a set of hardware, programs, and capabilities that integrate seamlessly with the Universal Robots series via the URCaps platform and provides the ultimate flexibility…enabling manufactures to go from robot in-box to deployment within minutes. And then once deployed, rapid task changeovers (retasking) also, within minutes.

We support all third-party mounting equipment and will work with your preferred integrators or in house engineering every step of the way.

1. PLUG AND PLAY URCAP.



Plug our hardware in with your UR controller box. Then, boot into your UR robot and install our URCap via our provided USB and your robot ready to be deployed. It’s really that simple! 

2. INSTANT, ONE-CLICK CALIBRATION.



Mount the calibration plate provided by SOUTHIE onto the UR tool and free-drive it into the field-of-view of the camera-projector system.

Press CALIBRATE on the pendant’s URCap window and have the robot instantly calibrated and ready for deployment. No programming required.

3. INSTANT, ONE-CLICK DEPLOYMENT.

Once calibrated, unmount the calibration plate from the UR tool and mount back your tool of choice, electric gripper, soft gripper, suction cups, anything!

Press the START WAND button on the URCap window to load up our augmented reality teach interface and deploy new tasks within minutes using it!
